Summer Camp Opportunities

This list of summer opportunities for students are provided to the district from the organization offering the camp. If your organization has a summer camp opportunity you would like listed, please e-mail a copy of the flyer or registration form to Erin Stewart.

 

ALL SUMMER

  • Madison County Schools Food Services will provide meals to all children 18 and under without charge. Locations and times vary. Click HERE for details.
  • Madison County Public Library Summer Reading Program. The more you read, the more prizes you can earn! Sign up at the library.
  • Tumble Shine Gymnastics Summer Camps are weekly beginning May 29. Camps are from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Cost is $85 to $100 per week and lunch and snack are provided.

 

JUNE

  • Future Eagles Basketball Camp at Madison Southern High School is June 4 and 5 from 9 a.m. to noon. Camp is for boys and girls from 1st to 8th grades. Cost is $30.
  • Colonels Camp is from June 4 to 8 for children in grades K to 6th. Campers experience the EKU Campus Recreation and its many activities including indoor and outdoor games and sports, rock climbing, arts and crafts, group fitness classes, educational sessions, Hummel Planetarium, Alumni Pool, KidsPlace, and much more. Camp is from 8 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. and costs $125 per week. Lunch and snack must be provided for your child each day.
  • Berea Arts Council Art Camp will be June 4 to 8 from 9:30 a.m. to noon for children ages 5 and 6 and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. for children ages 14-18.
  • Sports Blast Camp at Crossroads Fellowship Church for grades K to 6. Activities include breakfast, lunch, daily field trips, crafts, games, puppets, and lots of fun! Camp runs from June 4 to 15 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Madison Central High School Baseball Camps are June 11 and 12 (skills camp), June 13 (hitting camp), and June 14 (pitcher/catcher camp)
  • Madison Central High School Youth Soccer Camps are June 11 to 13 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Bellevue Learning Center Soccer Fields. Cost is $55.
  • EKU's Hummel Planetarium STEM Camp is June 11 to 14 from 8:30 a.m. to noon for rising 1st to 3rd graders. Cost is $95 per child.
  • Center Stage Theatre Camp at Madison Southern High School is June 11 to 15 from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for grades K to 8th. Cost is $50 by May 31 or $75 after May 31.
  • Red House Baptist Church Volleyball Camp is June 11 to 13 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for girls in grades 5 to 8. 
  • EKU softball is hosting summer camp for ages 8 and up from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 12 and 13. Registration is $110. The camp takes place at Gertrude Hood Softball Field, 1159 Van Hoose Drive. 
  • Madison Central High School Lady Indians Basketball Summer Camp is June 13 to 15 from 9 a.m. to noon for girls entering 1st through 8th grades. Cost is $50 per camper.
  • University of Kentucky Majorette Clinic is from 9 a.m. to noon. The clinic is $30.
  • MCHS Science Olympiad STEM CAMP is June 18 to 22 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Cost is $150. 
  • EKU's Hummel Planetarium STEAM Camp is June 18 to 22 from 8:30 a.m. to noon for rising 4th and 5th graders. Cost is $125 per child.
  • Colonels Camp is from June 25 to 29 for children in grades K to 6th. Campers experience the EKU Campus Recreation and its many activities including indoor and outdoor games and sports, rock climbing, arts and crafts, group fitness classes, educational sessions, Hummel Planetarium, Alumni Pool, KidsPlace, and much more. Camp is from 8 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. and costs $125 per week. Lunch and snack must be provided for your child each day.

 

JULY

  • Colonels Camp is from July 6 to 20 for children in grades K to 6th. Campers experience the EKU Campus Recreation and its many activities including indoor and outdoor games and sports, rock climbing, arts and crafts, group fitness classes, educational sessions, Hummel Planetarium, Alumni Pool, KidsPlace, and much more. Camp is from 8 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. and costs $125 per week. Lunch and snack must be provided for your child each day.
  • EKU softball is hosting summer camp for ages 8 and up from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 10 and 11. Registration is $110. The camp takes place at Gertrude Hood Softball Field, 1159 Van Hoose Drive.
  • EKU's Hummel Planetarium CSI Camp is July 17 to 19 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. for rising middle school students. Cost is $95 per student.
  • Colonels Camp is from July 23 to 27 for children in grades K to 6th. Campers experience the EKU Campus Recreation and its many activities including indoor and outdoor games and sports, rock climbing, arts and crafts, group fitness classes, educational sessions, Hummel Planetarium, Alumni Pool, KidsPlace, and much more. Camp is from 8 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. and costs $125 per week. Lunch and snack must be provided for your child each day.
