Upcoming Events:

Madison County - and many surrounding counties - host a variety of summer learning and summer fun opportunities for kids of all ages. Please visit the district's SUMMER CAMP OPPORTUNITIES page for details on many of these activities.

 

"Do you want to go to Japan? Do you want to host a Japanese Student in your home?" The Japanese Homestay Exchange Program is designed to give 10 middle school students from Madison County a chance to experience Japanese culture by hosting and visiting Japanese students during the summer. If you are interested please read the attached brochure for important information about this exciting program. Contact Melissa Metcalf, the Japanese Homestay Program Coordinator at melissa.metcalf@madison.kyschools.us or at Foley Middle School.

 

Friday, May 12:

  • The MCHS music department will be presenting their spring musical, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, at 7 p.m. All tickets are $10 and will be sold at the door.

 

Saturday, May 13:

  • Madison Hills Christian Church is hosting a Mother and Son Build-A-Brunch and a Mother and Daughter Tea. Proceeds will help support the Pregnancy Help Center and Madison Hills Teen Ministry.

 

Sunday, May 14:

  • The MCHS music department will be presenting their spring musical, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. Sunday’s show, our “Mother’s Day Matinee,” will begin at 3 p.m.Al l tickets are $10 and will be sold at the door.

 

Monday, May 22, to Wednesday, May 24:

  • Madison Central High School Volleyball Team is hosting its annual skills camp.

 

Wednesday, June 14:

  • Mike's Kids Education Foundation is hosting its 10th Annual MKEF Golf Scramble at the University Club at Arlington. To sponsor the scramble or participate, please visit www.mkef.org/participate.

 

Friday, June 16:

  • Madison Central's Football Team is hosting a golf scramble at Battlefield Golf Club. Registration starts at 8 a.m. and tee off is at 9. E-mail mcindiansfootballboosters@gmail.com with any questions.

Other Opportunities

  • EKU Campus Recreation now has Birthday Bash Packages now available!
  • Jazzercise of Richmond has FREE classes for girls ages 16-21 called GIRLFORCE in 2017. Teachers/staff can bring their daughters and Coaches can have their teams attend for free. 40 minutes of fun upbeat aerobics and 20 minutes of strength training with weights, balls, tubes, abs, and legs. Monthly class schedule can be found on Jazzercise of Richmond Facebook, Twitter and their website.

  • Madison Country Club is offering discounted pool membership prices for Madison County Schools employees.
