The first day of school for students will be Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2020.
2. Everyone will be asked to wear masks while in our buildings this fall. Students, staff, and visitors will be expected to wear masks when they are moving around the building or when they are within 6 feet of other individuals. Masks will not be required for children under the age of 6 or for those with medical exemptions.
3. Classrooms will be set up with social distancing in mind with the goal that students will be able to remove their masks while they are seated at their desks.
4. Common areas will not be used by large groups of students. This includes, but is not limited to, cafeterias, auditoriums, and gymnasiums. These areas would only be used for specific classroom activities, not for assemblies or events that involve more than one class at a time.
5. Students will be eating breakfast and lunch in their classrooms or at designated outdoor spaces.
6. Schools will be conducting temperature checks for each individual before they enter our buildings.
7. Temperature checks will be highly encouraged before students leave home each morning.
8. Everyone will be asked to wear masks while riding school buses.

These precautions and others are in place for everyone's safety. They will require some adjustments and we understand they may be a little inconvenient.

The district is offering three attendance options for the fall:

1. In-person attendance.
