In appreciation for their participatiion in the Community Work Transition Program of Madison County, we are honored to spotlight JCPenney as our featured Business Partner of the Month.
JCPenney has been in business for 116 years providing clothing retail to customers nationwide since 1902. James Cash Penney opened his first store and called it "The Golden Rule" because he believed that his associates, customers, and community should be treated the way he would want to be treated. The Richmond location has been partnering with Madison County Schools for the past 8 months. It is the store’s hope that all students in the program end up leaving with real-life skills to help them sustain a positive living and working environment well into adulthood. "It makes it all worthwhile when you see the smiles on the students faces when they realize that they have accomplished something to be proud of," said Store Manager Brandi Gary.
Thank you JCPenney for your continued efforts in offering outstanding opportunities for our students!
