Clark-Moores Middle School has selected Mr. James Ray as its next principal. Mr. Ray is currently serving as associate principal at Madison Southern High School. He will begin his duties at Clark-Moores Jan. 1, 2019.
Mr. Ray began work in Madison County Schools in August 2011 as a social studies teacher at Madison Southern and became associate principal at the school in 2015. He began his career in education in 2006 in Pulaski County.
Mr. Ray has served in many leadership capacities during his career including CSIP and testing committees, budget committees, soccer coach, teacher mentor, and others. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Studies and History Teaching from Western Kentucky University and his Master of Arts degree in Instructional Administration from Union College.
“Mr. Ray has been an asset to the administrative team at Madison Southern," said Superintendent David Gilliam. "We expect Mr. Ray to do an outstanding job as leader at Clark-Moores."
