cseppThe bi-monthly test of the Madison County Siren, Tone Alert Radio, and Local Emergency Information System will be conducted Saturday, November 7th,  at 12:20 p.m.In the event of threatening weather the test will be canceled.The system is tested the first Saturday and the third Wednesday of each month.Local Emergency Alert System radio stations include: WEKY, 1340 AM WCBR, 1110 AM WCYO, 100.7 FM WEKU, 88.9 FM WKXO, 1500 AM WLFX, 106.7 FM WIRV, 1550 AM

 
MCS and MCHD collaborate to vaccinate students PDF Print E-mail

Madison County Schools and the Madison County Health Department are working together to provide the H1N1 vaccine to any student who wishes to be vaccinated. The vaccination clinics will be held in each school beginning Monday, Nov. 2. Students will be vaccinated only if they have a consent form signed by a parent. For additional information, please contact your school's office. Extra packets with consent forms are available at each school. MMS teachers receive recognition from Wal-Mart PDF Print E-mail

mms_walmart_2Madison Middle School was chosen by Wal-Mart for the teacher appreciation of the year award. Ten Madison Middle school teachers were given $100 gift cards from Wal-Mart each to use in their classrooms.
