Academic Team Wins District Governor's Cup

Congratulations to Madison Middle's Academic Team for placing 1st at District Governor's Cup competition.    Our team was undefeated in Quick Recall for the day and numerous students placed and are going on to compete in Regionals at East Jessamine Middle School on February 2.  

 

Individual results:

Math- Don Truong, 1st place 

Science- Jason Hurt- 2nd  place 

Language Arts- Julia Rahimzadeh- 1st place,;      Aly Norton and Laura VonMann- TIED for 2nd

Arts and Humanities- Peter Koury- 1st place, Zach Marcum-2nd place 

Written Composition- Jackson Hurt- 3rd place, Erin Manuel-4th place
