Silas House, co-author of Same Sun Here, visited with Foley Middle School 8th grade students. He shared information about the novel and the writing process. After his presentation, he answered questions from the 8th graders, graciously posed for pictures, and spent some time signing copies of the book.
The book, Same Sun Here, is a nominee for the Kentucky Bluegrass Award this year. The 8th grade students are currently reading the novel in their Language Arts class. Thank you Mr. House for taking time to visit with us, and thank you to Gear Up for helping make this possible!
