Mayfield Elementary’ s Academic Team participated in the District Governor’s Cup Competition held on March 2, 2013 at Model Lab. The following students placed in written assessments and will be advancing to the Regional Governor’s Cup Competition to be held on March 23: Nakia Fullerton 3rd on Language Arts, Martha Lowe 2nd in Social Studies, Bryant Wagner 4th in Arts & Humanities and 5th in Science, and Stephen Hunt 1st in Arts & Humanities.
