Foley Middle School Life Skills teacher Jo Ponder signed the school up for the Brita Water Bottle Healthy School Program. Her application won the contest and Foley will receive more than 500 water bottles for the students to use during testing.
The Alliance for a Healthier Generation is a program that provides resources and educational opportunities to help schools encourage students and staff to become and remain physically healthy.
“I am so excited about FMS winning the Brita Water bottles," Ponder said. "Water is the most important nutrient for our bodies, and provides the necessary hydration that our brains must have in order to perform at their optimal levels. Thanks to the Alliance for a Healthier Generation all of our FMS students will have water at all times!”
