Madison County Schools has partnered with PowerMyLearning to offer a free digital platform that makes thousands of digital learning activities from across the web easily accessible and usable in one trusted place. The platform was developed by education nonprofit CFY and is funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, The Eli & Edythe Broad Foundation, and the W.K. Kellogg Foundation.
"We are excited to support the teachers, parents and students in Madison County as they harness the power of technology to drive student learning both in and out of the classroom," said Elisabeth Stock, CEO and Co-Founder of CFY, the nonprofit behind PowerMyLearning. "PowerMyLearning will allow teachers to personalize instruction and parents to become active learning partners for their children by extending classroom instruction into the home. This is especially relevant as summer approaches, which is a time where students frequently lose valuable skills and knowledge acquired during the school year. PowerMyLearning enables parents to work with their children to ensure they remain active learners and are prepared for the school year ahead."
