The Madison County Board of Education named Randy Neeley as interim superintendent at its June 13, 2013, regular meeting. Neeley will begin his role as interim superintendent on July 1, 2013, and will continue in that role until a new superintendent is hired by the Board.
Neeley currently serves Madison County Schools as director of pupil personnel, a role he will maintain while serving as interim superintendent. Neeley was named DPP in 2010. Prior to serving as DPP, he served Madison County Schools as principal of White Hall Elementary, assistant principal of Madison Middle, and health teacher at Madison Middle. Neeley’s career in education began in 1994 and he has served his entire career in Madison County Schools.
“Mr. Neeley is a great fit for Madison County Schools as interim superintendent,” said Board Chair Mona Isaacs. “We have every confidence he will make the transition smooth as we move forward in the process of hiring a new superintendent for Madison County Schools.”
