MSHS football player helps raise money for Team Dawna

At Madison Southern High School's home game against Pulaski County on October 5, Madison Southern student and football player Austin Sipple, who is a junior, presented a check in the amount of $500 to Mrs. Dawna Gilliam. Austin designed and sold t-shirts to the junior class during homecoming week.

He was inspired to donate the money to a cause close to Mrs. Gilliam’s heart, TEAM DAWNA. All the money collected will be donated to help others in their fight against breast cancer. MSHS Head Football Coach Jon Clark said Austin is an incredibly thoughtful young man and his selfless act is an inspiration to others.
