District, school assessment results available

In 2009, the Kentucky General Assembly, passed Senate Bill 1, which began a new era in public school assessment and accountability. This new accountability system holds all schools and districts accountable for improving student performance. 

Madison County Schools is pleased with the results of the new assessment and accountibility system. The results confirm that the district is working hard to ensure that Every Student Counts. Progress is being made throughout the district.

To the left, you will find a "button" link to assessment results for the district and for individual schools. That link also includes videos featuring Assistant Superintendent Randy Peffer and District Assessment Coordinator Donna Caldwell that offer information about the new assessment system. Additionally, there are many resources linked for more information about the new state common core standards and the new assessment and accountibility system.
