Artist Trading Cards
You are invited to participate with Foley Middle School’s Artist Trading Cards
What are Artist Trading Cards? Well, they are miniature works of art about the same size as a baseball card.
How do you make one? You can use any kind of material (media) for your card. For example, paint, crayons, coloring pencil, ink, marker, construction paper and so on.
What do I create on the card? Any food related image. If I wanted to draw a slice of pie, I could! If I wanted to draw how healthy eating affects me, I could! If I wanted to draw a detail of my cereal in a bowl of milk, I could! I could create any food related image with patterns, or water color, or an abstract fork! Just go for it!
When are they due? Trading cards are to be turned in daily to the cafeteria during Breakfast from January 11th-January 29th
Can I make more than one? Sure, pick up more cards from the cafeteria
Will there be prizes? Yep, the cafeteria will pick 5-10 random artist cards daily for prizes from the ala carte. Once all cards have been submitted by January 29th, a PEOPLE’S CHOICE voting will begin and prizes will be given for each grade level
