Summer Learning and Fun Opportunities Available Throughout Madison County

Madison County - and many surrounding counties - host a variety of summer learning and summer fun opportunities for kids of all ages. Please visit the district's SUMMER CAMP OPPORTUNITIES page for details on many of these activities.

Free Summer STEM Camps

Registration opens on Monday, May 1, 2017.  Because these camps will be offered to all Southern Madison County students, they will fill quickly and we want to make sure we provide this service to as many students as possible, so we are doing our initial registration through Signal Vine, a texting platform that is used by Partners for Education.  To register your child for our summer camps, text JOIN to 859-780-5800. Once you text this number, you will be prompted to complete additional questions to begin the registration process.  You may register for as many camps as your child is eligible and able to attend. Spots are available on a first-come first-serve basis, but considerations will also be made to ensure that as many campers as possible are able to attend camps.
These camps will run from 9:00a.m. – 3:00 p.m. with parent drop off at front loop of Seabury Center between 8:30 -9:00 and pick up between 3:00-3:30 .    Each camp will conclude with a Parent Visit at 2:00 p.m.  The camps will be held in the Danforth Technology building and lunch is provided through the Grow Appalachia Summer Feeding program.
Any questions?  Feel free to contact Linda Stone, Project Director, PartnerCorps STEM at 859-9853710 or email her at Linda_stone@berea.edu.
Oh and the most important part…these camps are all provided free of charge!   Thanks Novelis!
