Students will be introduced to the shop, and how to properly and safely use tools and equipment in the automotive industry.
Auto Tech 2 (Electrical Systems)
This course focuses on automotive electrical and electronic components by identifying, testing and diagnosing such component devices. Introduction to the hybrid vehicle.
Auto Tech 2 (Brake Systems)
This course involves the operational theory and application of hydraulic disc and drum brakes along w/ anti-lock brake system.
Auto Tech 2 (Suspension and Braking)
This course presents the automotive suspension system, the diagnosing of suspension problems, identifying components, recognizing the wear problems, and wheel balancing.
Auto Tech 2 (Climate Control)
Teaches the operation of heating and air conditioning systems. How to service them and learn the mechanics of it.
Auto Tech 2 (Engine Repair)
Provides demonstrations on the fundamentals of engine repair, troubleshooting and engine operation and maintenance.
Auto Tech 3 (Basic Fuel and Ignition Systems)
Service and repair of advanced automotive ignition, fuel, and emission systems.
Auto Tech 4 (Emission System)
Service and repair of advanced automotive ignition , fuel and emission systems, including related components
