The ACT is given at Madison Central on each National Test date, except for April and July.

April 13th ACT:  The next national ACT date is April 13, 2019.  Madison Central is NOT a test site for this date.  If you are interested in that test date, you can sign up to take it at EKU, Madison Southern, or multiple locations in Lexington.  The deadline to register is March 8, 2019 without any late fees.  If you are a junior or senior who qualifies for free/reduced lunch based on the HIF form, see your counselor for a fee waiver.  You can receive a total of 2 during high school.  Go to www.act.org to register.

ACT Fee Waivers:
Juniors and Seniors who receive free or reduced lunch based on the HIF form are eligible for up to 2 ACT fee waivers during high school. See your Guidance Counselor for an application.


ACT ID:  Anyone taking the ACT exam on a Saturday is required to show a Photo ID.  This can be an original and current permit, license, passport, or school ID.  If you do not have any of these forms of ID, see your counselor prior to the test date for an ACT Student Identification Form.  This form will serve as an ID for admission.

Residual ACT at EKU:

Eastern Kentucky University provides Residual ACT testing services to enrolled, admitted, or applicant students who are unable to take the ACT Assessment on a national test date. This service is provided at the Richmond, Corbin, Danville and Manchester sites. Residual ACT testing is restricted to on-campus/site administrations. Test results are valid only at EKU and cannot be transferred to any other institution or agency. If you wish to retake the Residual ACT, you must wait 60 days between test participations. Phone the Academic Testing office at 859-622-1281 for information or to make a testing appointment.
