Advanced Scholars Academy

AP Cohort

For the purpose of challenging those students, who have shown academic aptitude at the Middle School level in both test scores and class work, the county has established a Madison County Advanced Scholars Academy.  

This is an elite group of students striving to earn the title of an AP Scholar.  Once all requirements are met, this accomplishment will be noted with a special seal on his/her high school diploma.

Enrollment in the program does not lock a student into a set curriculum, but guides the counselors, advisors, parents, and the student when scheduling the student for classes.

The Advanced Scholars Academy is not for every student, but it is for the student that has a personal desire to be reach the pinnacle of academic success, is not afraid of hard work, and "straight" A's are not their guage for personal, academic satisfaction.
