Welcome to the Madison Central Media Center!

The MCHS Media Center has a book collection of approximately 30,000 volumes including books on tape and CD. Students may check out up to two items for a loan period of two weeks. Books may be renewed when the loan period expires for an additional two weeks. Patrons may also call the media center at 5430 or 5431 to renew items over the phone. The media center charges five cents per day for overdue materials and students will be notified periodically in homeroom of overdue items and fines. We encourage prompt return of all library materials so they may be enjoyed by all. In addition to our book collection, we currently subscribe to sixty magazines and two newspapers, The Lexington Herald Leader and the Richmond Register . The Madison Central Media Center also has available for patron use a photocopy machine, video cameras, digital cameras, CD and audio cassette players as well as 20 computers with Internet access.

Library Hours are 7:45 AM -3:15 PM, Monday through Friday.
