The Southern Madison County chapter of the STLP program was started in 1997 as a way to help students and teachers learn more about the technology within our school. Working together Foley Middle School and Madison Southern High School students, have been able to do great things.
We have produced several curriculum-based web sites, created on-line technology lessons for the teachers and students, produced video for the public and school use, and showcased at the State Teaching and Learning Conference. The students have also developed school website for Foley and Southern and learned how to fix technical issues.
Active members of the STLP program can compete in regional and state STLP competitions.
