The purpose of this class is to get students reading and writing. In order to achieve this, we will be reading various novels, short stories, poems and nonfiction essays as well as writing in these same modes. Of course incorporating technology is also important in developing reading and writing skills. Therefore, researching, blogging, presentations and word processing skills will also be used. In the end, it is the intention that this English III course will help students become better analytical and crital thinkers by improving their literacy and technology skills.
