Class: We assessed our health using the health assessment worksheet and created a behavior change we want to make before the end of the health term.

Class: We went over the 4 types of bone, the 3 main functions of bone, and labeled a skeleton with the common and proper names. The skeleton handout can be found in the handouts section of the main health page.

Class: Played a review game over skeletal system, reviewed the respiratory system notes, created our own skeletons out of paper and labeled them and filled in a blank body diagram with the parts of the respiratory system.

Class: Internet was down in the building all day and we couldn't do our lecture so we did test corrections on the body systems test we took on Friday.

Class: Finished notes on nutrients including vitamins, minerals, and water. Then, spent time learning how to properly read a food label and did a worksheet on reading food labels. It can be found in the hand outs section of the main health class page.

Class: We went to fast food websites to look at the nutrtional values of foods we typically order and tried to find ways to cut calories and still be happy with our choices.

Class: We went to different websites to search for meals for breakfast, dinner, and dessert that would stay under our nutritional limits and follow our 4 food rules: 1) Eat foods low in fat  2) Eat foods low in sugar  3) Eat foods low in salt  4) Eat foods high in fiber

Class: I made taco bean sliders in class to show a healthy meal can be made cheap and tasty.

Class: Did a review sheet over nutrients and food labels
