1. Current physical-Every athlete needs a current sports physical that will run through the entire cross-country season.
2. Running shoes-Not all shoes are running shoes. Please do not wear just any shoe to do distance training in (cheerleading shoes, basketball shoes, etc.). The shoe should have a thick sole and be designed to run long distances in. Some athletes may require insoles in their shoes for comfort.
3. Racing spikes-Once competition begins, athletes need to have racing spikes.
4. Water bottle-If you bring your own water bottle to practice, you won't have to rely on a water fountain or sharing with someone else (which will get you sick).
