School year calendar update

As of Wednesday, March 5, 2014, students have missed fifteen (15) days of school for inclement weather – Dec. 10; Jan. 6, 7, 17, 21, 22, 23, 24; Feb. 3, 6, 10, 26; and March 3, 4, and 5. When the calendar was developed for this school year, administrators “built in” time for four (4) school days. That time has been used and we are now making adjustments to the calendar. Students attended school on Presidents Day (Feb. 17), which was in the original calendar as a holiday. Students will attend school on Friday, March 21, which was in the original calendar as a professional development day. The original last day of classes was scheduled for Friday, May 23. The last day of classes for students will now be Friday, June 6. The calendar will continue to be updated as we move through winter. An updated calendar can be found by clicking here.
