Student Technology Leadership Program. What's it all about?

This school year Shannon Johnson will support the Student Technology Leadership Program at our school. This will be Shannon Johnsons third year to participate in the STLP program. My goal as STLP Coordinator is to form innovative learning partnerships between all grade levels. Mr. Hunley, the Computer Activity Teacher, and I will intergrate the program into all classrooms through projects, products, lessons, and services.

MISSION: The Mission of the Student Technology Leadership Program (STLP) is to advance the individual capabilities of students; to motivate all students; and to create leadership opportunities through the use of technology.

What do STLP schools do?
Schools empower students to learn and use technology to achieve.
The STLP uses project-based learning.
Students create projects, products or provide services or carry out projects that help the schools and community.
STLP will be structured to accomplish goals of the projects.
