Description of Our School
Daniel Boone Elementary has changed considerably since its opening in 1963. It's last major renovation ended in the Fall of 2015. Our school actively seeks parental involvement. When educators and parents make the commitment to join together to develop home/school relationships, a new door to success is open for each student in our school.
Our student body consists of students from first through fifth grade. We have approximately 450 students attending Daniel Boone Elementary. For kindergarten students attend Madison Kindergarrten Academy, middle school, our students will attend Clark-Moores Middle School. After completion of middle school, our students will attend Madison Central High School.
Mascot and Colors
Daniel Boone Elementary was named after the famous frontiersman that led settlers through the Cumberland Gap. Many of those settlers settled with him at Fort Boonesborough which is only about 12 miles from our school. Thus, Daniel Boone Elementary mascot is a Pioneer. Our school colors are green, gold, and white.
