MCS Web Accessibility Madison County Schools believe that our website is the avenue to the world.  Our vision for the MCS website is to aid members of the surrounding community and others on the world wide web, to become lifelong learners.  The district wants to constantly improve to make our site better for all stakeholders that use our site.  We are a district working proactively to make sure our site ADA Compliant.

Why is ADA Compliance important?   According to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, worldwide there are 285 million people with some sort of visual impairment and 275 million people with a moderate to profound hearing impairment and many others have a physical, speech, cognitive, or neurological disability. Accessibility ensures "ALL" users can access the product or service.

As a school system, we must be able to provide access to "ALL" stakeholders. Digital content must be made accessible to all users regardless of disability. As our world becomes more digital we must make sure we stay aware and diligent to the need of all stakeholders that use our website. If you are experiencing difficulty accessing any element of this website, please let us know by completing the webform to the right, or send an email, or call Tina Barrett at 859-624-4500 x1117.
