Welcome to the Communications Department at Madison County Schools! We help keep everyone in our school community informed and connected.
Some of the services provided by the Communications Department include:
- Mass communications for families and stakeholders
(district announcements through phone calls, text messages, website, and/or mobile app notifications) - Students, staff, and schools recognition
- District social media
- Website maintenance and app support
(update content on the district website/mobile app and offer support for school webmasters)

Recently Madison County Schools has expanded and emphasized Career and Technical Education, adding CTE classrooms at the middle school level. Clark Moores has a program that goes hand in hand, providing similar education through their thriving Family and Consumer Science class – a rare offering at the middle school level.

Now that winter has settled in, we wanted to take a few minutes to talk about how that affects our regular school days. Each year, we battle some form of inclement weather – sometimes ice or freezing rain, sometimes snow, or even extreme cold temperatures. Those weather factors and conditions can impact our traditional school days.
