Kentucky Summative Assessments
(KSA)
The KSA are the annual summative assessments given in grades 3 - 8, 10 and 11 to Kentucky public school students. KSA provides content area assessments in Reading, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Writing, and Editing and Mechanics. All students who take KSA will also complete a survey on the Quality of School Climate and Safety.
Districts must complete all assessments during the last 14 instructional days of each school year.
