    Library News!

    January Authors of the Month:

Mercer Meyer has published over 300 books. His most popular books are the Little Critter series. Most of his books are about things that happened to him when he was young. Check out his website! https://www.littlecritter.com/  This series is great for young readers.

Mary Pope Osborne is best known as the author of the Magic Tree House series, which has sold more than 134 million copies worldwide! Check out her website devoted to this series https://www.magictreehouse.com/

And the Winner is…. Mrs. Darby's Class!

In December, we had our very first celebration to reward the class that returned the highest number of books this so far. Darby’s Doodlebugs did a phenomenal job of returning their books! This class was rewarded with treats to enjoy! Another class will be rewarded soon!

Remember students are chosen randomly to receive a prize if they are caught with their books in their backpacks or if they return it to the library on their scheduled day of class. So far, I’ve given out lots of prizes to those kids who keep their books safe!  Please do not eat or drink around our library books and make sure water bottles don't leak while transported in backpacks.
