Madison Middle School welcomes our new staff members for 2021-2022.

Mrs. Burchfield

Welcome to Ms. Brandi Burchfield! She will be teaching 7th grade Language Arts at Madison Middle next school year.

Ms. Burchfield is excited to be a Panther! Going into the school year, this will be her sixth year teaching Language Arts. She was born and raised in Madison County, and she graduated from EKU with a Bachelors in English and Theatre teaching. Outside of school, you can find Ms. Burchfield reading, walking her dog, and crocheting.

Mrs. Meredith Chandler

The Panther Family is excited to welcome Meredith Chandler to the math department on the hill!

Hello Panther Nation!  My name is Meredith Chandler and I am very excited to be your new 8th-grade math teacher.  I have taught math for 8 years and it is my favorite subject.  When I am not teaching, I enjoy attending sporting events with my husband, Wes.  He is also an educator, as well as, a sports broadcaster for Eastern Kentucky University.  I enjoy taking pictures, hiking, kayaking, and camping.  I am ecstatic to be joining the Panther Family and I am looking forward to meeting you all!

Mr. Jared Colegrove

Madison Middle welcomes Mr. Jared Colegrove to our campus! He will be teaching all grade levels both ELA and Social Studies.

My name is Jared Colegrove and I am excited to be a part of Madison Middle School! Upon graduating from Madison Southern, I went to EKU and majored in Criminal Justice with a minor in Homeland Security. My desire to be in a career field that truly impacts peoples lives for the better drove me to decide on that career initially, but after much consideration I decided to pursue teaching. I have always had a special place in my heart for students and my goal is to empower students, to the best of my ability, to be their very best. I believe helping kids with school work and learning can coincide with instilling a sense of purpose and belief in themselves that can allow them to grow as a human being and develop the critical thinking skills they need to be successful adults later in life.

Mr. Jeffery Robinson

Welcome Mr. Robinson!  Mr. Robinson is joining our Exceptional Child Education department as a new Social Studies and Math teacher

My name is Jeffery Robinson and I am thrilled to join Madison Middle and become part of the Panther family! After graduating from Madison Central, I furthered my education at the University of Pikeville where I graduated with a B.S. Degree in Social Work. Going into social work I’ve always wanted to help better the youth by being a positive mentor and helping them reach their full potential. By becoming an educator I can do just that and more. I am also an assistant football coach at MMS and not only will be able to help better students in the classroom but on the outside as well!

Mrs. Nikolova

Hello!
Welcome to 6th-grade math! I am delighted to have you in my class!

This will be my 16th year as a teacher and my first year as an MMS Panther. I am so excited to be a part of such a wonderful team! I can't wait to get to know each and every one of you!
My daughter tends to describe me with the quote, "it's always 'I love you' and never 'I told you so.'" I share this with you because I know that the first year in middle school may seem overwhelming, but I am here to help you every step of the way! We are in this together and we will make it through this as a team! I look forward to learning together and achieving great things. The sky is the limit!
Should you need anything at all, please do not hesitate to reach out to me via email.
A wonderful school year lies ahead! Go Panthers!

Mr. Hensley

Welcome Mr. Allen Hensley! MMS is excited to have Mr. Hensley return to campus. He will teach 8th grade science. Originally from Harlan, Kentucky, Mr. Hensley has been teaching science for 5 years. He is very passionate about education, coaching, and mentoring.

"I am happy to be a Panther again and serve the community in which I live."
